ROÁR Studio Warsaw is the brand's physical boutique at Wilcza 8 in the Śródmieście district of central Warsaw, Poland. It opened to give European customers the chance to try the full ROÁR collection in person — swimwear, bodysuits, the clothing capsule, and accessories. The studio operates by appointment and walk-in. The team can advise on fit by body type, by intended use, and by trip itinerary. For Ukrainian customers, ROÁR also operates a parallel showroom in Kyiv via the local storefront at roar-cruise.com.ua. For everyone else, the international storefront ships worldwide.

The rest of this piece is a working profile of the Warsaw studio — what to expect when you visit, why the brand chose this particular street, and how the in-person experience differs from the online one.

The address and what to expect

The studio at Wilcza 8 — natural light, full collection, intimate fitting space.

Address: Wilcza 8, apartment 28, 5th floor (there is a lift), Warsaw, Poland (Śródmieście district). Getting in: dial 28 on the intercom at the first gate, then dial 28 again on the intercom at the building entrance. Nearest bus stop: Plac Trzech Krzyży, three minutes' walk. Nearest tram stop: Muzeum Narodowe, ten minutes' walk. Nearest metro: Centrum, fourteen minutes' walk. Opening hours: Monday to Saturday, 11:00–19:00. Walk-ins are welcome, and you can also book ahead; the team responds to booking requests within one working day.

Wilcza is a quiet residential-commercial street running between Plac Konstytucji and Plac Trzech Krzyży. The building is 127 years old and was restored after the Second World War, with high ceilings and natural light from tall windows on two walls. The studio is on the fifth floor (there is a lift) and combines two fitting rooms, a small retail presentation of the current collection, and an office for the European customer team.

The first impression most visitors mention is the natural light — Warsaw's southern light is famously clear, and the studio was designed to make use of it. The swimwear hangs against a neutral wall in tonal groupings; the clothing capsule is presented on a single rail at the back; the accessories sit on a small table near the entrance. The whole space is approximately the size of a generous Parisian apartment salon — intimate rather than warehouse-scale.

This is intentional. ROÁR built the Warsaw studio as a fitting and consultation space, not as a flagship retail destination. The team's working assumption is that customers come for the fit conversation more than the shopping experience.

Why Warsaw

The decision to open in Warsaw rather than Kyiv, Paris, or Milan deserves explanation.

By 2024, ROÁR had been operating from Kyiv for nine years, with a domestic customer base built through the local storefront at roar-cruise.com.ua and a growing international following through the global site. The pandemic and the subsequent geopolitical situation shifted both the practical and the editorial centre of gravity of the brand. Many of ROÁR's international customers — particularly those in Western Europe, the United Kingdom, Scandinavia, and the Middle East — could not easily travel to Kyiv for fittings. The team began considering where a parallel European base would best serve them.

Warsaw won the comparison for three reasons:

The Ukrainian connection. Warsaw has the largest Ukrainian diaspora outside Ukraine, with a long-established cultural and creative community. Many of ROÁR's Kyiv-based atelier team had relocated to Warsaw and were already living and working there. Opening a Warsaw studio meant continuing to work with the same people who had built the brand's hidden-seam construction over a decade.

The European convenience. Warsaw's Chopin Airport is two to three hours by air from most major Western European capitals, with direct connections to London, Paris, Milan, Berlin, Amsterdam, Vienna, Madrid, and Tel Aviv. For a customer flying in for a fitting before a Mediterranean holiday, Warsaw is roughly as accessible as Milan and significantly cheaper.

The right neighbourhood. Wilcza and the surrounding Śródmieście district have become Warsaw's quiet fashion neighbourhood — independent designers, considered restaurants, small concept stores. ROÁR's neighbours on Wilcza include several other Polish and Ukrainian independent labels. The street has the texture of pre-2014 Kreuzberg or pre-2018 South Kensington — established but not yet polished beyond recognition.

The Warsaw studio opened formally to walk-in customers in 2024 and has become the brand's primary European fitting location.

What's in the studio: the full collection

The complete collection on display — swimwear, bodysuits, clothing capsule, accessories.

The Warsaw studio carries the entire current ROÁR collection, not a curated selection. The team's policy is that any piece on the website should be available to try in person, in every size in the current range.

Swimwear. The complete one-piece swimsuit line, including the ORCHID, LATE CHECKOUT, KIR ROYAL, CORSICA, BIARRITZ, SANTA CRUZ and the rest of the line. The full separate swimsuits collection, with tops and bottoms displayed independently so that customers can size each piece correctly.

Bodysuits. The complete bodysuits collection, built around the same hidden-seam construction as the swimwear. The bodysuits are often the most surprising piece for customers — they expect swimwear and discover that the same technique applies to year-round clothing.

Clothing capsule. The ROÁR clothing range — skirts, dresses, knitwear — designed as crossover pieces between resort and city wear. The MISE-EN-SCÈNE 2026 collection in particular is built around this crossover principle.

Accessories. Belts, hats, and finishing pieces from the accessories line. Worth trying alongside swimwear to see how the brand's accessories complete a full look.

The fitting experience: how it differs from online

The reason most customers visit the Warsaw studio is to feel the difference between the fabric in photographs and the fabric in hand.

Photographs of swimwear necessarily flatten texture and weight. A premium double-layer biflex looks similar to a thinner single-layer fabric in a product shot, but the in-hand experience is unmistakable. The same applies to hidden-seam construction — the visual smoothness reads as similar on screen, but the feel against the skin when worn is the part that justifies the price difference.

The studio's fitting service has three steps:

1. The fit conversation. Before any try-on, the team asks about the trip you are dressing for (the most useful single question for narrowing the selection), your usual size in European sizing, and any specific fit issues you have had with swimwear in the past. This conversation usually takes ten minutes and often saves an hour of try-on time later.

2. The selection. The team brings a small set of pieces — usually three to five — that match the brief. The selection is deliberately narrow at first. Customers often arrive expecting to try ten pieces and find that the first selection of three is closer to the right answer than they expected.

3. The try-on and adjustment. The studio has two private fitting rooms with full-length mirrors and good lighting. The team will check fit at the strap, the leg, the centre back, and the bust before recommending sizing changes. For pieces that fit but feel uncertain, the team often suggests wearing the piece for ten minutes in the studio before making a decision.

The studio does not pressure customers to buy. Many fittings end with the customer ordering the chosen piece for international delivery rather than taking it home from Warsaw. That is the team's expected outcome, not a disappointment.

Beyond swimwear: the wider ROÁR experience in the studio

The most common surprise for first-time visitors is the discovery that ROÁR is not exclusively a swim brand.

The clothing capsule — skirts, knitwear, dresses, bodysuits — has been a quiet part of the brand from the beginning and now accounts for a significant share of European customer purchases. The capsule is built around the same hidden-seam construction principle as the swimwear, which means a ROÁR bodysuit reads as cleanly under a blazer as a ROÁR one-piece reads under a cruise-dinner skirt.

The accessories line is similarly underrepresented online. The KIR ROYAL belt, the accessories line, the small leather pieces — these are designed as completion items for the wider line and are best understood when seen alongside the swim and clothing capsule.

For customers who arrive at the studio for a swim fitting, the wider experience often shifts the purchase. A typical Warsaw studio visit results in one swim piece and one clothing piece rather than two swim pieces.

The Warsaw context: why Wilcza, why now

Wilcza is the centre of what local fashion press has begun calling Warsaw's "second Berlin moment" — a small cluster of independent designers, considered restaurants, and small concept stores that have established themselves over the last three years. The neighbourhood has the energy of a city that has just started to be discovered by international visitors but hasn't yet been homogenised.

Other Wilcza addresses worth knowing for a visit:

MOOD Coffee at Wilcza 4 — independent coffee bar, two doors down from the studio.

Beirut Bistro at Wilcza 73 — Levantine-Polish restaurant, a few minutes' walk.

The neighbourhood's small bookshops, vintage stores, and concept shops — most are within a ten-minute walk of the studio.

Warsaw has become a credible city for a fashion-aware weekend in 2026 — an evening at the National Opera, a morning at the Łazienki Park, a fitting at ROÁR, a dinner at one of the Wilcza restaurants.

How to book a visit

The studio operates a combined appointment and walk-in policy — everyone is welcome, with or without a booking.

Appointment is optional, but useful for a fitting that requires more than thirty minutes. Appointments can be requested through the contact form on the ROÁR Studio page. The team confirms within one working day. Saturday morning appointments are usually booked one to two weeks ahead during the summer season.

Walk-in visitors are welcome any time during opening hours, Monday to Saturday, 11:00–19:00. The shortest wait times are usually weekday mornings and Thursday afternoons.

Payment. In the studio you can pay by bank card on the payment terminal (BLIK is also available on the terminal), in cash, or via a Stripe payment link — handy if you don't have a physical card or Apple Pay with you.

Online orders. Orders placed on the website can be picked up at the studio, and online purchases can be exchanged there.

Delivery within Warsaw. On request, the studio can send your purchase across Warsaw by taxi. If you send your own driver, the team will bring your order down to the street. Orders placed on the website are shipped from our warehouse.

Languages. The team speaks Polish, Ukrainian, Russian, English, and (with some seasonal additions) French, Italian, and German.

Group fittings. For wedding parties, photography teams, or media visits, the studio can accommodate small group bookings outside of regular hours, with at least two weeks' notice.

The Kyiv showroom

For Ukrainian customers, ROÁR also operates a parallel showroom in Kyiv via the local storefront at roar-cruise.com.ua. The Kyiv showroom carries the same collection as the Warsaw studio, with local Ukrainian Hryvnia pricing and the option to pay through Ukrainian payment systems.

The two showrooms run independently in terms of operations but are integrated in terms of stock and brand presentation. A customer can be sized in Warsaw and pick up in Kyiv, or vice versa, by arrangement with the team.

For customers from neighbouring countries — Romania, Moldova, Slovakia, Hungary — either Warsaw or Kyiv is convenient. For Western European customers, Warsaw is the primary recommendation.
